Please read these terms carefully before making a booking at Munawar Residence.
All reservations at Munawar Residence are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of a booking confirmation from our team. Bookings may be made through our website, by phone at +92 300 1534218, by email, or in person at our reception desk. By making a reservation, you confirm that you are at least eighteen years of age and that all information you provide is accurate and complete. Munawar Residence reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its sole discretion in the event of unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Room rates displayed on our website are quoted in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. The rate confirmed in your booking confirmation is the final rate for your stay. Rates typically include the room or apartment accommodation as described and do not include additional services such as meals at Jirga, room service, airport transfers, or other extras unless explicitly stated. The best available rate is always offered to guests who book directly with us.
Check-in time: 2:00 PM (14:00) on the day of arrival.
Check-out time: 12:00 PM (noon) on the day of departure.
Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request and are subject to room availability. Additional charges may apply for early check-in or late check-out beyond the standard times. Guests are required to present a valid government-issued photo identification (such as a CNIC, NICOP, or passport) at the time of check-in. All guests, including accompanying family members, may be asked to provide identification. The guest whose name appears on the booking confirmation is responsible for the conduct of all persons staying in the room and for any charges incurred during the stay.
On departure, please return your room key to the reception desk. Any outstanding charges for services used during your stay must be settled at or before check-out. Munawar Residence reserves the right to charge for any damage to the room or its contents beyond normal wear and tear, and for any items missing from the room following departure.
We understand that travel plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our ability to serve all guests:
Free cancellation is available up to forty-eight hours before the scheduled check-in date. Cancellations made more than forty-eight hours before check-in will receive a full refund of any advance payment made. Cancellations made within forty-eight hours of check-in may be subject to a charge of one night's room rate. No-shows (failure to arrive without prior cancellation) will be charged the full amount of the first night's stay, and the remaining nights of the reservation may be released for rebooking.
For group bookings (three or more rooms), peak-season reservations (summer months and public holidays), and special packages, different cancellation terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking. In the event that Munawar Residence must cancel a reservation due to circumstances beyond our control (such as natural disaster, civil unrest, or government directive), we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule your stay for a later date.
As a guest at Munawar Residence, you are expected to respect the property, our staff, and other guests at all times. The following are the responsibilities of all guests during their stay:
Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings. While we take reasonable precautions, Munawar Residence is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to guests' personal property, including valuables, unless deposited with the reception for safekeeping.
Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas. All rooms and indoor common areas are strictly non-smoking. A cleaning fee may be charged if a guest smokes inside a room or apartment. The use of candles, incense, or any open flames inside rooms is not permitted for safety reasons.
Guests may not bring outside food or beverages for consumption in the common dining areas without prior arrangement. For room dining and special dietary requirements, our team is happy to accommodate requests through our in-room dining service or at Jirga.
Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to ensure all guests enjoy a restful stay. Guests causing disturbance, damage to property, or engaging in illegal activity may be asked to leave the premises without refund, and Munawar Residence reserves the right to involve local authorities where necessary.
Munawar Residence shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, or inconvenience arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of nature, power outages, water shortages, road conditions, weather events, government restrictions, or third-party service interruptions. While we make every effort to provide a comfortable and safe environment, guests acknowledge that travel in mountain regions carries inherent risks, and Munawar Residence is not responsible for events arising from the natural environment or local infrastructure.
Our liability, where it exists, is limited to the total amount paid by the guest for the booking in question. Munawar Residence is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages. Guests are strongly advised to carry appropriate travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal injury, and loss of belongings during their visit to Azad Kashmir.
Any descriptions, photographs, or representations of rooms, views, and facilities on our website are provided in good faith for illustrative purposes. Actual room configuration, views, and amenities may vary slightly depending on the specific room assigned, seasonal conditions, and ongoing property improvements.
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the applicable laws of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Any legal proceedings arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Munawar Residence reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The terms applicable to your stay are those in effect at the time your booking is confirmed. We recommend reviewing this page before making a reservation to ensure you are familiar with the current terms.
